Inspection made and inquest attended. He and another boy were engaged infilling small coal into tubs and putting them into the cage just below the surface level in order that the coal might be drawn up to the level of the heapstead. He evidently thought cage was at the opening ready receive the tub and he fell with the latter down the shaft.
