A locomotive had pushed four wagons o slack up into the fan boiler siding, the first and second wagons being 2 feet 3 inches apart. Deceased secured the second one but not the first, and he was found crushed between the buffers, the front one having moved down 1 foot 3 inches. It is not known why he was between the buffers.
