Deceased was taking two trams of coal along a heading dipping 1.5ins. per yard. He was riding on the gun and must have struck his head against a piece of low roof and fractured his neck. He was found lying on the ground in front of the tram. The heading was only 5ft high and riding should have been prohibited it was made higher.
