- On 17th February, whilst travelling in the mine, he bumped his head, knocked him down, made a lump on head. On 4th March gain bumped his head. Died 25th March. At inquest doctor said death due to rupture of blood vessel in brain, the blood vessels were in such a naturally diseased condition, a slight blow would cause rupture.
