Deceased was getting coal in a seam only 15 ins. thick. He was lying on his left side when one end of a piece of stone, 3 feet 6 inches long, 2 feet 6 inches wide, and 1 foot 3 inches thick, fell from the roof on to the lower part of his body. He was found dead, but was heard to be working some 15 minutes beforehand.
