When engaged drawing timber, rails, flat sheets, &c., out of the roadways of recently finished workings. He had five bars to draw and had set props in middle of the road for protection, but while knocking out a prop from under one end of one of the bars the roof gave a lurch and swung the bar out and he was caught and killed by the fall.
