Deceased was clearing the pavement at the side of a haulage road preparatory to setting a prop to carry signal wires, when a piece of rock 7 feet 6 inches by 1 feet 3 inches by 1 foot 10 inches fell from the top corner and killed him. The fall stripped a parting crossing the roadway at about 150 degrees.
