- Details of Event
- He was knocked down and run over on a wet, windy day by the colliery locomotive. The accident occurred near a turn in the railway, and the look out from the engine does not seem to have been as careful as it should have been. The man was employed by the Gloucester Waggon Company, and was not under the jurisdiction of the colliery officials. The waggon company had a shed containing sundry articles for repairing waggons belonging to the Colliery Company.
