26 October 1929: Fatal Roof Fall - The jury then enquired into the circumstances attending the death of George Seath, miner, Bella Cottages, Station Road, Cardenden, at his dwelling-house, on 26th October, from the result of an accident which happened to him on 14th October in his working place in the Lady Helen Pit, belonging to the Lochgelly Iron and Coal Company, in the course of his employment there.
