Fall of brick earth at the face which was about 6, feet high where he was working. It occurred owing to the practice (which should not he allowed) of under-cutting and then falling the earth. In this case, as usual, the unexpected occurred the earth fell over suddenly from a slip or "glassy vent" which was unseen.
