The stone fell about half in the lift and half in the old jenkin. Four pair of gears were set under it in the lift the planks of which were broken and the outbye end of the stone rested on a tub in the place. The fall came away at a jack and a slip both of which were visible before the fall took place the slip running through the seam as well as extending into the roof.
