- Details of Event
- Deceased and two other men were getting coal in a stall where, slips in the roof were frequent and the roof supports were, props only. Deceased pulled coal from the face and a fall of roof buried him. The fall exposed three slips, one, of which was at the face. The work he did unkeyed the roof for a length of 20 feet, and a thickness of 2 feel. It was a place in which bars should have been used to support the roof.
