He, was employed at the bottom of an incline worked by self-acting endless rope and where each separate tub was attached to the rope by clips back and front, the tubs being 8 yards apart. He was taking the back clip off one full tub, after having taken the front clip off, when the rope stopped running. This appeared to cause, the back clip on the following tub to get loose from the rope, and the rope in front being slack, the front clip slipped, and allowed the tub to run into deceased. An empty tub was standing on the other rails and the clearance was only 10 inches.
