Deceased and two others were lifting on a derailed tub on a jig dipping 1 in 3. Having set the lower wheels on the rails deceased putting his weight on the lower edge of the tub while the others raised the upper end with a lever. As the wheels were set on the rails the drawbar broke at an imperfect weld, not detectable by ordinary inspection and the tub ran away taking deceased with it and crushing him against the empty tub at the bottom of the jig.
