Details of Event
A stone fell at the goaf edge and knocked out a prop. The prop hit him on the head and he laid off work six days. He then worked until June 19th when he became ill and died on 8th September. The medical evidence at the inquest, though not positive, appeared to point to the accident he had received on February 1st as having, in some measure, accelerated his death.
