Fall of roof at face stone measuring 6ft. 5in, by 3ft. 5in. by 8in., fell from roof which had an area of 59.5sq.ft. unsupported. Maximum only permitted 20.3 sq.ft. The collier knew the roof had broken, and was preparing props to set under it when the accident occurred.
