Died August 23rd. While deceased was working at a windmill pump he stood on an 11-inch plank which be himself had fixed about 7.5 feet above a ledge in the quarry. He slipped and fell off the plank. and his head came in contact with a wooden water box and his skull was fractured and he never recovered consciousness. The plank fell with him as it was not nailed or firmly secured at either end.
