Details of Event
He had put an empty tub into a siding and went in to bring out a full one. The place was only a short way up, and as soon as the pony was hung on it started away. The putter was nipped between the full tub and the empty tub in the siding. He walked home, but did not work again, and he died on 27th September, 1911. An inquest was held on 30th September, 1911, following a post mortem. After hearing medical evidence the jury found that death was due to neurasthenia, brought about by the accident.
