Deceased was sitting in a cabin at the entrance to the Mary drift, resting before he went inbye to work, when he suddenly fell over and became unconscious and died. He had had an accident in the adjoining Clara Vale Colliery some years ago and was an ailing man. There was no suggestion of any accident at the time of his death, and no inquest was held.
