He was bringing out a full tub by hand, the gradient of the road being in his favour. He was probably travelling fast, and at a Blight turn on the road the tub got off the way and drew out several props. This place was at an old bord end, and the roof stone was lying heavy on the planks. A considerable fall of stone took place, and when found the putter was under a piece 4.5 feet by 2 feet by 6 inches thick, and was dead when got out.
