19 June 1935: Fife Miner Killed By Fall From Roof - Charles Robertson, coal stripper, was killed yesterday by a fall of stone from the roof in No.2 Pit, Aitken colliery, Kelty. Robertson, who resided at Allison Place, Woodend, Kelty, leaves a widow and four children. This is the fourth fatal accident that has occurred at the colliery since March 31. [Scotsman 20 June 1925]
