Deceased was a chargeman and shot-firer, and, during his shift, bad fired three shots in a stone drift. It would appear that only two of the shots exploded, and while the deceased was drilling another hole he accidentally bored into the charge which exploded and killed him. When found, his compressed air percussion drill was upon the ground and still working.
