Deceased and his butty were standing a pair of timbers, and when his butty handed him the end of the collar, he slipped and fractured his knee-cap. He was medically treated at the infirmary and afterwards at home. Three weeks before he died the knee gathered and general blood poisoning set in, from which he died on June 15th, 1907.
