Details of Event
He cut the palm of his band while moving some sharp stones. He was suffering from a cold at the time which developed into influenza, from which he recovered, but a lump formed under his arm. He was operated upon and made a good recovery, but suddenly collapsed. The medical evidence was to the effect that he died from septic absorption, abscesses end heart failure, brought about by the cut on the hand. Died 8th June.
