Details of Event
Fall of side (stone) in shaft during process of widening. Whilst men were walling the shaft working on a scaffold the temporary supports of the sides of the shafts above them gave way, and a large fall took place which tilted the scaffold and caused deceased to fall to the bottom of the shaft.
