Inspection made and inquest attended. A piece of clay weighing 15 or 20 cwt suddenly slipped and fell from the face and caught deceased who was at work at the quarry bottom. The quarry was only 8 feet deep at that point and the place had been examined by an official who considered it perfectly safe.
