- Whilst deceased was driving two full tubs outbye from a passbye he was fatally crushed between the first tub and a middle prop set underneath a balk. It is supposed that he was riding on the limbers, when his foot slipped on the buffer, causing him to fall forward. There was 3 inches clearance between the side of the tub and prop.
