6 January 1925: Uddingston - Tannochside Miner's Death - On Tuesday, William Rhinds, miner, Hozier Street, Tannochside, who was employed in Bredisholm Colliery, was found on the underground haulage road in an unconscious condition, and on being brought to the surface and medically examined was at once removed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, but died shortly after admission. It is supposed he had been run down by runaway hutches. Deceased leaves a widow and family. [Hamilton Advertiser 10 January 1925]
