Haulage Accidents (b) Run over or crushed by trams or tubs – Whilst proceeding up a wheel brae he was run over by runaway tubs. He was severely injured and died the following day. John Renwick Junior, holder-on, Thistle Cottage, Main Street, East Calder, died on 28 June 1922 at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, from injuries sustained on 27 June 1922 in Westwood Shale Pit, Livingston Parish, Linlithgowshire, when he was struck by a runaway hutch.
