Fall of roof at face. While filling coal into a tram at road end, a fall of roof from a bed of shale occurred, fracturing his skull of one man and injuring a foot of the other. Joints were visible in the roof after the fall and it appears that the beds are thin and require careful timbering. Green Vein. Safety lamps.
