Deceased and another sinker were raising the centre planks of the walling-stage so as to allow water-raising, when by some means he overbalanced and with the plank which he had loosened, fell into the water, 36 feet deep and was drowned. He was just before seen by the chargeman holding on by the bridle chain, and lifting one end of the plank.
