23 November 1938: Woolmet Colliery, Midlothian, was the scene at a fatal accident yesterday. While at work, Charles Ramsay, aged 30, who resided at 49 Rothesay Place, Musselburgh, was killed by a fall of stone from the roof. Death was instantaneous. [Scotsman 24 November 1938]
