Explosion of firedamp caused by electrical spark. 27 killed. Golborne Road who had a compound fractures to both legs dislocation of the right ankle, lacerated ear and fractured jaw. He was too ill to be questioned in hospital. There were visual signs of carbon monoxide poisoning which was shown by the pigmentation to the face and lips, was absent. This could have been due to the time that had elapsed. He died 19th. November 1932.
