This accident occurred in the Ryder seam, which has a thickness of 6 feet 9 inches, about 15 inches of which is propped up. Deceased and another filler were engaged loading a tub that stood under a round bar with a prop fixed at each end, when a heavy bump took place, displacing the bar and two watch props and allowing roof to fall over an area 8 feet 5 inches by 7 feet 6 inches by 4 feet 3 inches. A fault slip was disclosed.
