Deceased brought a full tram out from the face of a level and left it and the horse just outside of a rise heading. He then went up the rise healing and attempted to run the full trams down to attach it to the one he had brought out of the level. He took two sprags out and got the fireman to start the train and, after it had gone a few yards, replaced the sprags. Before it reached the level it came to a stop and deceased was found under it. His spine was fractured. He was very probably going in front of the tram, holding it back and fell. He died on January 29th.
