- Deceased was taking two empty tram along a heading riding on the gun when his head came violently in contact with a low collar. He fell to the ground but the tram did not touch him. He was able to tell another haulier how the accident occurred but died in ten minutes from a fracture of the neck. There was a bridge of five pairs of low timbers from 4 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 4 inches high.
