- Details of Event
- When last seen, before the accident he was standing on a bench drilling a hole. About ten minutes later one of the men working in the quarry heard some stone dropping and on looking round saw the deceased fall feet foremost on to some stones on the ground and with his head and back against the quarry face. He was so severely injured that he died the same night. What caused him to fall is difficult to say. He may have may have been climbing up the slope of the quarry and slipped or when working and lost his balance.
