Deceased was cleaning up along a face in the Bad Coal which was well timbered with bars 5 feet 6 inches long and 3 feet apart at right angles to the line of the face one prop being close to the pack wall the other within 4 feet of the face. He was buried by a fall of roof coal and bass which came from a slip running diagonally from the face across the pack. The fall reeled one bar and broke over the next one on one side and along the line of the one on the opposite side.
