Deceased had climbed on to the top of one of two stampers on his machine to make some necessary adjustment. In getting down he got hold of one of the rails on which the stampers run. The other stamper was near the end of its travel and deceased slipped his hand, and a wheel of the stamper frame ran on to it. He received constant attention and was moved to the hospital on the 25th July, but he died a month later from blood poisoning following the injury to his right hand.
