A full tub had been left standing with one dreg in its wheels on a gradient 1 in 72. Another full tub was being brought along the same road also with one iron dreg in the real wheel and when it joined the standing tub with considerable force, the latter ran amain and knocked down Poskett who was 40 or 50 yards distant. The deceased was repairing the way at the time, and although there was a clear space of over 3 feet between the tub and the sides, in his anxiety to get clear he lost his light. He died on June 11th.
