- Falls in Mine (a) Falls of Side – Deceased was in the act of setting a leg to a strap just under the brushing lip when a large stone weighing approximately one ton fell from the brushing and killed him. The strap, legged at one end, was broken by the stone. The place had been inspected by a fireman within the hour and reported safe. Deceased had been at work for ten hours and a half.
