Deceased and other two workmen were filling at the foot of the lace when, without any warning, a piece of stone from some 20 feet lip the face fell and caught two of the men, killing deceased on the spot and severely injuring the other man. The face appeared to have been properly examined, and there was nothing to show any danger. The fall was probably due to weathering after an unusual heavy fall of rain.
