Deceased was killed by a fall of bass while loading in a longwall face in the Banbury seam. The bass fell from three slips, two parallel to one another and to the coal face and the other running diagonally across them. The fall was a heavy one about l foot 6 inches thick extending over an area of 8 feet 6 inches by 4 feet and it reeled one post in falling.
