- Details of Event
- Deceased was found by a roadman crushed beneath the front end buffer of a tub of ironstone drawn by a pony. He had nearly reached the bottom of an incline of 1 in 10, the back wheels of the load being lockered. There was nothing to indicate how deceased got into the position in which he was found, but it was suggested that the load was stopped by some obstruction on the rail and that, while removing it, the pony started and drew the load on to him.
