- Details of Event
- Deceased was working in a stall, the right side of which was stripping a fault. He had been instructed to build a pack right up to the fault side, and, before doing so, to replace two trees which were broken near the foot, close to the proposed pack. He had replaced one of the trees, but had withdrawn the other, and was shovelling dirt into the pack, when a fall of broad earth came from two converging slips and killed him. The fall was about 5 feet square by 2 feet thick at centre, and came from where the tree was withdrawn.
