Details of Event
Deceased was killed by a fall of roof at the coal face. The roof was badly cut up by slips and the stone fell from between two of these. Deceased was engaged at the time in setting a prop under the stone which fell. This should have been done before. A shot fired shortly before probably loosened the stone.
