An arch was being packed with stones in the open spaces between it and the roof and sides a man on a scaffold 8 feet from the floor was packing the higher parts and deceased was on the floor level also packing when a stone lifted the man on the scaffold broke in his hands and a piece of it fell and grazed deceased's head causing two wounds. Deceased did not appear much worse and spoke of returning to work next day but during the night he became unconscious and died. A post mortem revealed the existence of serious injury to the brain. Died 19th November.
