Deceased was not a quarry worker, but was directly employed by a Traction Engine Haulage Contractor. He was filling chalk into a cart belonging to his employer when a fall occurred from the upper portion of a 50 feet deep face and struck him to the ground, causing fracture of the skull and other injuries, to which he succumbed on 2nd April at the West Suffolk Hospital.
