Fall of side at face, deceased was watching his partner pulling down, with a bar, a slip of top coal from in front of which two sprags had been removed. A larger piece of coal than was expected fell, and struck out a newly set pair of timber, an arm of which struck him on the forehead and killed him. The coal which fell was 16 feet long. Four feet seam.
