- Struck by hutches. Percy Noblett, brusher, 7 Colquhoun Street, Stirling, was fatally injured in the underground workings of Millhall Colliery at the close of his shift on Friday morning. He was making his way to the pit bottom when he was apparently struck by a rake of hutches. Noblett received extensive injuries and was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary, where he died this (Tuesday) morning. (Stirling Observer).
